The goal of the Municipalities Planning Code Working Group is to develop a single platform and advocacy strategy designed to give local governments more control over development in their communities. The group of municipal leaders, state representatives, planning commission members, attorneys, judges and community leaders are outlining changes to the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC) and identifying areas where local governments need support in sharpening the tools the MPC provides to better plan and manage development.
