Over the past 20 years, the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission has developed an extensive Geographic Information System (GIS) in cooperation with the assessment departments of Lehigh and Northampton counties. The GIS staff provides a wide variety of mapping and analysis which are used on a daily basis by the LVPC staff. Map products and services are also used by engineers, planners, local municipalities and county staff.
