NORTHAMPTON COUNTY BLIGHT REVERSAL & REMEDIATION PLAN
The LEHIGH VALLEY PLANNING COMMISSION (LVPC) is accepting proposals for a one-time contract to perform certain professional consulting services work for NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Pa. Proposals shall be submitted electronically via the PennBid Program no later than June 6, 2018, at 12 PM, prevailing time.

Director of Transportation Planning
The Lehigh Valley Planning Commission (LVPC) is seeking a candidate for Director of Transportation Planning to lead a team developing and managing the implementation of the regional multi-modal long-range transportation plan, and implementation of this plan, subject to Federal and state requirements of metropolitan and county planning. The Director of Transportation Planning performs complex professional, stakeholder development and administrative work under the general supervision of the LVPC Executive Director. The Director of Transportation Planning also, works closely with the community, Lehigh Valley Planning Commissioners and Lehigh Valley Transportation Study Board. As such, possessing excellent communication and time management skills, and the ability to manage the work of others is key. Communication of technical analyses via written reports and presentations (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is also required.
